Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer.
- Slice hoagie rolls and brush insides with olive oil. Fill with meatballs and sauce, top with cheese, and broil for 2 to 3 minutes until melted.
Notes
I recommend toasting the rolls well to prevent sogginess.
