Method
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until soft and fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Lower the heat to medium-low. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer gently. Add pasta water to reach your desired thickness.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet. Toss until coated and serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of water or cream.
