Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend preferred
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional toppings pickles, diced onions, burger sauce

  • Large skillet or griddle
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide beef into 4 portions. Press each portion into a thin, even layer onto one half of each tortilla. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Place tortilla in skillet, beef side down. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until beef is browned and cooked through.
  4. Flip tortilla, sprinkle cheese over beef, fold in half, and grill both sides until crispy and cheese is melted.
  5. Slice into wedges and serve with toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or toaster oven for best texture.
